About me
Summer is a Professional Practice Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling at Utah State University. She is primarily responsible for supervising and instructing pre-service teachers seeking a license in early childhood special education. She has been working in the field of special education for over 20 years. In addition to professional experience, Summer is a mother of children with disabilities and has served as a parent representative on state and local advisory boards.
